Caractéristiques

Chinese assault rifle expanded

A second-tier, general-purpose, automatic firearm chambered for 5.56mm munitions, the arme is the most puissant of the generic assault rifles in base dégâts and DPS. With a arme dispersion of 1.5, it is a somewhat imprécis arme. It is the third least résistant 5.56mm arme. quelle que soit, it remains a formidable automatic arme for any Small Guns character for the entire game.

In the Operation: Anchorage add-on, certain armes were re-skinned while one is in the Anchorage Reclamation simulation to make them look like actual pre-War armes, with the Chinese assault rifle among the small group chosen for this. The new looks include brown-colored hand and foregrips, and the outer bluing is a darker black with fewer scratches than the d'après-guerre version. The stats and names are exactly the same, but the durabilité (as with every in-simulation item) is infinite, making the arme (almost) impervious to dégâts and frequent use.

Durabilité

The Chinese assault rifle peut tirer 1,212 cartouches, soit 51 rechargements, depuis une condition maximale avant de se casser.

Variantes

  • Fusil d'assaut Xuanlong - a unique variant with a higher 36-round chargeur and the highest dégâts of any automatic small gun.
  • Jericho's Chinese assault rifle - a non-player variant used by Jericho.
  • Sim version - a variant only used while participating in the Anchorage Reclamation simulation, which differs only in health (essentiellement non-degrading). It also has a barely noticeable winterized color scheme on the stock and foregrip, and a much cleaner finish on the receiver and barrel.
  • High dégâts - An additional variant with 1000 dégâts can also be trouvé in Operation: Anchorage, used in the DLC02TrenchClimberTrig02SCRIPT and cannot be obtenu under normal circumstances.
  • Dragoon - a variant named Chinese Dragoon assault rifle peut être trouvé in the data files for Operation: Anchorage. It uses the Anchorage-specific texture for the arme, but aside from name and appearance, it is identique to the standard Chinese assault rifle. It is likely the arme was intended to be placed in the armory with other "terres désolées" versions of armes trouvé in the Anchorage sim, most of which were cut from the final version of the add-on; as such, the arme can only be accessed through the use of console commands.

Notes

  • Malgré the in-game model having a folding metal stock, the Pip-Boy icon depicts the Chinese assault rifle with a solid stock.
  • Bien que not present as a playable arme in Fallout: New Vegas, the Chinese assault rifle does make a brief appearance in le jeu. During How Little We Know, if one chooses to help Cachino take over Gomorrah and destroys the Omertas' armes stockpile with thermite, the muzzle of a Chinese assault rifle can be seen extending from one of the piles of debris afterward.
  • A similar weapon was planned for Fallout 4 but was cut before release.
  • A similar weapon was meant to appear in Fallout 76, but was cut and only exists as texture files after release.

Anecdotes

According to Joshua Sawyer, the reason that the Chinese assault rifle was cut from Fallout: New Vegas was because he did not believe there would have been a heavy enough presence of Chinese infiltrators in the Mojave to justify their inclusion.[Non-game 1]

Bogues

  • In corps à corps conditions, the rifle can chargeur through cibles or level geometry. This causes all shots to miss the cible or be absorbed by geometry, even when the muzzle protrudes beyond the obstruction. [à vérifier]
  • Removal from inventory, or storage in a gun cabinet tel que peut être trouvé in Outcast outpost, can mysteriously and significativement degrade the condition of the rifle. similaire degradation can occur by manipulating the rifle with the grab tool.
