Chinese officer swords are traditional jian (剑), double-edged straight swords manié par Chinese officers.[1]

Présentation

These swords were dress swords issued to People's Liberation Army officers during the Sino-American War.[1] They became prized as trophies by American soldiers fighting in the war,[2] and many swords were captured and came to the American homefront as souvenirs. Some even trouvé their way into the hands of fifth columnists. Since the Great War, these armes have become an uncommonly used armament by wastelanders and raiders alike.[3]
