The Rock-It Launcher is a weapon dans Fallout 3.
Caractéristiques
A big arme that allows one to shoot Rock-It Launcher ammunition, consisting of a wide variety of junk items from tin cans to teddy bears. Heavier objects will arc more in flight outside of SVAV targeting; donné the rate of fire (3.3/s) and high points d'action cost (32), it may be important to aim freehand more often. The way that objects would be placed on a shelf is the way they fly from the gun. Par exemple, silverware and tools will be shot horizontally while empty Nuka-Cola bottles and the like, which are placed on a shelf upright, on end, will be shot that way from the gun. Nearly any piece of junk can be used as munitions, and shot items are able to be recovered and reused.
Durabilité
The Rock-It Launcher can fire a total of about 100 objects from full condition before breaking.
Emplacements
The arme cannot be trouvé in le jeu, instead it must be crafted.
Fabrication
Notes
- All munitions has the same dégâts, i.e. a teddy bear will do the same dégâts per strike as a deathclaw hand or an iron.
- Non-personnage joueurs and compagnons cannot use the Rock-It Launcher, as it is marked as "Player Only."
- One can shoot some objects that are considerably larger than the diameter of the firehose nozzle "barrel" should allow - including other firehose nozzles, motorcycle gas tanks, and basketballs.
- Projectiles of all kinds tend to sink into irregular static meshes of rubble or natural rock and gravel, making them difficult to detect or nearly impossible to activate to pick back up.
- A broken Rock-It Launcher can still accept munitions being loaded into it. The munitions will remain in the arme and count against carry poids. Dropping the launcher and picking it back up will unload it of all the objects.
- Plungers and sharp objects like knives will not stick into walls or ennemis.
- The vacuum can be heard turning on and off as the gun is holstered and unholstered.
- Pencils, which are weightless, cannot be used as munitions.
- The blower has the intake slot for the munitions, which can be clearly seen in first person view.
- The arme is likely the first craftable arme one can obtain after leaving Vault 101 as the schémas for making it are acquired by interacting with Moira Brown in Megaton.
- The Rock-It Launcher, as a arme concept, is similaire to the Junk Jet from Fallout 4. Cependant, en raison de the significatif increase in the utility of junk items as a result of introducing the settlement system in that game, collecting junk in Fallout 4 becomes a matter of figuring out which items are worth using as munitions for the Junk Jet over storing them in the workshop for use with building and crafting, compared to most junk items being solely utile as munitions for the Rock-It Launcher in Fallout 3.
Bogues
One sometimes cannot use the schémas or even view them, even with all required components in their inventory.[à vérifier]
