Histoire

Située dans le centre des affaires de Charleston, ce gratte-ciel était le cœur de la Compagnie minière Hornwright Industrial.

Disposition

• Le gratte-ciel est divisé en sept étages distincts, se terminant en haut par les quartiers de l'exécutif. Le hall d'entrée est constitué d'un rez-de-chaussée (1) et comporte la réception avec un terminal dans la mezzanine, de même qu'un distributeur de Nuka Cola dans la pièce au sud (peut faire apparaître du Quantum et du Cherry), ainsi que des petites mares d'eau radioactive. Les archives de la compagnie se trouvent du côté opposé, en haut des escaliers, tandis que dans le coin sud-est se trouve la cage d'escalier reliant la plupart des niveaux ensemble.
• Les étages 2 à 5 surplombent une unique chambre centrale. Le département des opérations informatiques (IT) se trouve au second étage, dans lequel on peut trouver le terminal de Jeffrey Vaccarro ainsi que la Fiche de réponse de l'examen de directeur exécutif dans son bureau. La pièce adjacente contient un atelier de chimie.   • Two chemistry stations can be found at this building, one on the second floor, and another on the executive suites.
  • There is a tinker's workbench on the third level, in Penelope Hornwright's office.
• The fourth floor contains the conference room and Penelope Hornwright's office. The terminal on her desk contains a message to Yvette that contains the password for the automated hiring system in the hiring department.
• The fifth contains an exist to the external balcony - now the adjacent residential building's top floor, which contains ruined wastelander dwellings - and blocked offices, accessible through the ruined technical passage on the western face of the building. The safe requires R. Vargas key, which is located on the bottom right shelf of his desk.
• The top floor can be accessed through the lobby elevator after acquiring the senior executive keycard during The Motherlode. The top floor contains the main lobby, with the executive office of Daniel Hornwright on the northern end and the development lab on the opposite end. Interact with the external connection system to meet the Motherlode autonomous mining robot. The elevator to the basement can be enabled by advancing the Motherlode quest and serves as the meeting point of the robot.
  • At this level there is another elevator which accesses the sub-basement level, where a weapons workbench can be found.
